Formula 1 São Paulo Grand Prix at Interlagos
Brazil's Formula 1 round has been called the São Paulo Grand Prix since 2021 and runs at Interlagos (Autódromo José Carlos Pace) in the south of São Paulo. In 2026 it takes place on November 6-8 with the race on Sunday, and in 2027 on November 5-7 as a sprint weekend. For groups, travel agencies and individual fans, we buy tickets from the official seller at face value and arrange the hotel, race-day transfers, a guide and the trip on to Rio.

2027: November 5-7, with a sprint
F1 published its 2027 calendar on September 16, 2026. São Paulo is round 21 of 24 and a sprint weekend: on Friday one practice session and sprint qualifying, on Saturday the sprint (just over 100 km, points for the top eight) and then Grand Prix qualifying, on Sunday the race. The 2027 sale date has not been announced; the official F1 ticket site runs a waitlist that gives access to the presale.
The circuit
The official name honors José Carlos Pace, who won the Grand Prix here in 1975, but everyone calls it Interlagos. It hosted its first World Championship race in 1973, and F1’s contract with São Paulo runs through 2030. A lap is 4.309 km with 15 corners. Fans know the Senna S right after the start, Curva do Sol, the Reta Oposta back straight where cars reach top speed, and the Laranjinha, Pinheirinho and Bico de Pato corners in the infield. In 2025 the race drew a record 303,627 spectators, 17% of them from abroad, according to São Paulo city hall.
Grandstands and hospitality
The price depends on the sector; we quote it in the proposal and confirm availability there.
| Area | What you see | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Sector A | The curve onto the main straight and into the pits, the infield | No roof |
| Sector B | Starting grid, flag, podium ceremony | Roof, numbered seats, finger-food buffet and open bar |
| Sector M | Main straight and pits | Roof, numbered seats |
| Sector D | Senna S | Roof, food and drinks included |
| Sector H | Between the Senna S and Curva do Sol | Roof |
| Sector R | Curva do Sol, start of the Reta Oposta, cars rejoining after pit stops | Roof |
| Sector G | End of the Reta Oposta, top speed | No roof |
| Porto Bank grandstand | End of the Reta Oposta, battles for position | Roof |
| Heineken Village | A lawn less than 30 m from the track and the raised Estrela deck | Estrela deck: over-18s only, food and open bar included |
The organizer warns that temporary structures can partly block the view.
The organizer’s hospitality areas include food and drinks. Pit Stop Club looks onto the grid, pits and podium; Orange Tree Club and Grand Prix Club face the infield corners. Grand Prix Club adds visits to the team garages, and companies with 30 or more guests a day can take a private lounge there with their own branding. Interlagos Suites and Terrace Club suit larger groups. Paddock Club is sold by the official F1 ticket shop.
The fan zone next door, at the Kartódromo Ayrton Senna, has concerts and driver appearances. Holders of tickets for sectors G, H, R, the Porto Bank grandstand and some others get in free while space lasts.
Ticket rules
- Grandstands are sold by Eventim, Paddock Club by the F1 ticket shop, and the organizer books its hospitality areas directly.
- Every ticket covers all three days, with one entry per day: once you leave the circuit, you cannot go back in that day.
- Each CPF (Brazilian tax number) or ID document can buy up to 4 tickets.
- A full-price ticket can be transferred once, free of charge, through Eventim Pass from 12:00 on October 12 to 23:59 on November 5, 2026. Half-price (meia-entrada) tickets are personal.
- Children under 5 are not admitted. From 5 to 11 they enter only with a parent or legal guardian, and from 12 to 15 with a parent or an adult over 18.
- Umbrellas are not allowed, so bring a rain poncho.
The organizer’s rules ban resale, and resold tickets are cancelled without a refund. Article 166 of Brazil’s General Sports Law (Law 14.597/2023) makes it a crime to sell tickets to a sporting event for more than the price printed on them. That is why we buy only through official channels and at face value.
Getting to Interlagos
For the race, ViaMobilidade runs an express train on Line 9 (Esmeralda) with its own timetable. Round-trip tickets are sold in advance at passaporte.viamobilidade.com.br, where you also choose the time and boarding station. Get off at Cidade Dutra. The organizer puts the walk from there at 10 minutes to sector G and the Porto Bank grandstand, 25 to sectors D and M, 30 to sector A and 37 to Heineken Village.
The alternative is a car, minibus or coach with a driver from the hotel to the drop-off point and back. We leave plenty of margin, because on race days the city traffic agency, CET, controls the roads around the circuit.
Hotel and the trip on to Rio
Most of the crowd travels in: in 2025, 75% of spectators came from outside the city of São Paulo, so hotels for race weekend are worth booking early. If you take the train, stay near a Line 9 station; with transfers, any area works.
Many fans go on to Rio afterwards: land in São Paulo for Friday and move to Rio on Monday, or the other way round. Flights from Congonhas (CGH) to Santos Dumont (SDU) in central Rio and from Guarulhos (GRU) to Galeão (GIG) take about an hour. In Rio, a group can follow our Rio in 4 days program or another of our sample group programs.
What we arrange
- Tickets for the grandstand or hospitality area that fits what you want to see (start and pits, overtaking, a roof overhead), bought through official channels at face value.
- A hotel picked with the route to the circuit in mind.
- Airport transfers, and transfers to the circuit and back on all three days.
- A guide in São Paulo for the day before or after the race, with the guide’s language confirmed in the proposal.
- The Rio part of the trip: transfers, hotel and program.
- For companies, a hospitality area as the core of an incentive trip. For travel agencies, net rates or commission on request: see for travel agencies.
A local provider we have vetted delivers each service. You deal only with us and receive the provider’s details after you confirm.
Group size and terms
We work with individual fans as well as groups. Group bookings start from about 10 people. Groups of 50 and more are handled together with a large local receptive partner, and you keep one contact on our team. Terms and payment are set out in the proposal; you pay nothing before you confirm.
Write to us with the year, the number of people and the sector you have in mind, and you get a proposal within 24 hours. See also group trips, how we work and the events calendar.
