Major events in Brazil, October 2026 to November 2027

Rio Carnival 2027

Carnival is the biggest date of the year in Rio and the one to book first. Here is how the 2027 season runs at the Sambadrome (Sambódromo) and in the streets:

What we book for Carnival: seats on every night and of every type, from grandstands, numbered chairs and frisas to LIESA boxes and commercial camarotes; a place in a samba school’s parade, in costume; the January rehearsals; street blocos with a guide; transfers planned around the road closures; a guide on parade night; hotels for your nights. Prices are on request. The proposal arrives within 24 hours and confirms which seats are available.

Nights, schools and seat types are covered on the Rio Carnival page. For a ready itinerary, see the Carnival 2027 sample program. Salvador holds its own street carnival, officially February 4-9, 2027, with pre-carnival parades from January 29.

Month by month

We list only dates the organizers have announced. Outside Rio, the proposal confirms what we can arrange in each city.

The Rio Open starts on February 13, the day of the Champions Parade, so one trip can cover both.

Formula 1 and motorsport

The São Paulo Grand Prix is held at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, known as Interlagos. The race is on Sunday, November 8, 2026, and on Sunday, November 7, 2027, a sprint weekend whose session times are still to be confirmed. We buy the tickets, drive you to the circuit and back, book a hotel in São Paulo and arrange a guide; grandstands and race-weekend logistics are on the Formula 1 page.

Football

The 2026 Copa Libertadores final is in Montevideo, Uruguay, on November 28, so it is not on our list. The 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup is played in eight Brazilian cities, with the opening match and the final at the Maracanã in Rio; CBF competitions stop for the tournament, and the 2027 Série A calendar is not out yet.

Business fairs and conferences

Rio2C, Web Summit Rio and the Bienal do Livro book fair all take place in Rio. IBP, the Brazilian oil and gas institute, has announced the dates of Rio Pipeline & Logistics and OTC Brasil but not the venues yet. For a delegation we arrange hotels near the venue, transfers, interpreters, meeting rooms and business dinners: see business travel in Brazil.

Dates not announced yet

As of October 9, 2026, these events had no official dates. We add them here once the organizers publish them.

• Rock in Rio: next edition in September 2028, days not announced; no edition in 2027.
• The 2027 editions of the Parintins Folklore Festival, the São João festivals in Campina Grande and Caruaru, Oktoberfest in Blumenau and Círio de Nazaré in Belém.
• The WSL Championship Tour event in Saquarema, Rio Boat Show, the ABAV Expo travel fair in Rio and the 37th Bienal de São Paulo, all due in 2027.
• The big free concert on Copacabana in 2027: no artist, no date yet.
• The next ROG.e (Rio Oil & Gas), the start of the 2027 Série A and UFC events in Brazil.

How we help you attend

• Tickets only through official channels and at face value. We help you choose them, buy them and assist you on the day.
• If a ticket is issued in the holder’s name or needs a CPF, the Brazilian taxpayer number, we tell you early and prepare it with you.
• Transfers, hotels and a guide, with the guide’s language confirmed in the proposal.
• For groups: coaches sized to the group, a meeting point at the venue and a guide who takes everyone in and out.
• A person replies the same working day, and the priced proposal arrives within 24 hours. We work 8:00-20:00 Rio time; you can write at any time.

Travel agencies get net rates or commission on request: see for travel agencies.

Group size and terms

We work with single travellers too, and group bookings start from about 10 people. Groups of 50 and more are handled together with a large local receptive partner, and you keep one contact on our team. Terms and payment are set out in the proposal; you pay nothing before you confirm. For Carnival and New Year’s Eve the deposit is non-refundable once you confirm, because seats and tickets are booked for you.

Write to us with the event, your dates, the number of people and what you need. More in how we work and group trips.
