Bachelor and bachelorette party in Rio de Janeiro

A three- or four-day bachelor or bachelorette trip to Rio can include a day on a private boat, a helicopter flight over Sugarloaf and Corcovado, a samba school rehearsal, a football match at Maracanã, a dinner cooked by a private chef and a beach day with a reserved spot. We book each part with vetted local providers, add transfers and a coordinator, and send a priced proposal within 24 hours.

The same plan works for a bachelor party, a bachelorette party or a joint trip for both.

What we can book

We book each part with a local provider we have vetted. You deal only with us and get the provider details after you confirm. A coordinator can stay with the group on the busiest days; the proposal says which ones.

A day on the water

A private boat with a skipper for a few hours on Guanabara Bay, along Copacabana and Ipanema, or out to the Cagarras, islands about 5 km south of Ipanema and a federal natural monument since 2010. Food, drinks and a photographer can come on board. Before we book, we check the boat’s Navy registration (the TIE) and the number of guests its documents allow, and make sure there is a life jacket for everyone. More on yacht charter.

A flight over the city

A helicopter flight over Sugarloaf, Corcovado with the statue of Christ, Guanabara Bay and Copacabana, all part of a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2012. Each helicopter takes only a few passengers, so a group flies in several aircraft or in back-to-back slots. We book only operators that hold ANAC’s certificate for panoramic flights. See helicopter flights.

Tandem hang gliding or paragliding takes off from the two ramps at Pedra Bonita, 517 metres up in Tijuca National Park. The park points beginners to instructors accredited by ABVL, the Brazilian free flight association. Details on adventure activities.

Samba

We take the group to a rehearsal night at a samba school’s hall (quadra). Rehearsals pick up in the second half of the year, and each school posts its own dates on its official social media, so we check them for your trip. Many schools also hold a feijoada with live samba, usually on a Saturday or Sunday. In January 2027, the free technical rehearsals at the Sambadrome fall on January 23, 24, 30 and 31. More on samba for groups.

Football at Maracanã

A match day with tickets, a transfer and a host for the group. We buy tickets only through the club’s official channels at face value: under Brazil’s General Sports Law (Lei 14.597/2023), selling a ticket above its printed price is prohibited. Tickets are often in the holder’s name: for Flamengo v Fluminense on October 11, 2026, Fluminense asked for each holder’s CPF, facial biometrics and a photo ID at the gate. We check the fixture list and the club’s rules for your dates and collect each guest’s details early.

Dinner, the beach and photos

  • A private chef at your rental or on the boat: see VIP concierge.
  • A beach day on Copacabana or Ipanema with a reserved spot, chairs and shade.
  • The views from Sugarloaf and Corcovado, with a photographer if you want group pictures.
  • A samba or cooking class: see experiences in Rio.

Sample three-day plan

Day Daytime Evening
Day 1 Arrival, transfer with a name sign, afternoon at the reserved beach spot Welcome dinner cooked by a private chef at your rental
Day 2 Helicopter flight or hang gliding, then the afternoon on a private boat Samba school rehearsal, with transport there and back
Day 3 Sugarloaf or Corcovado with a photographer, or a samba or cooking class A match at Maracanã if there is one on your dates, or a farewell dinner

A fourth day can stay free in case the weather moves the flight or the boat. The final order depends on the forecast, the fixture list and the rehearsal dates, and the proposal sets it out.

How we plan it

  • We plan with one person and send every update to that person, which also helps if the trip is a surprise.
  • The group moves together in the transport we book, with a set meeting point and time for each part of the day: see group transfers.
  • The flight and the boat go early in the trip, because wind and weather decide whether they go ahead.
  • We collect names in advance, and for flights each passenger’s weight.

Carnival or New Year’s Eve

In February, the group can add a night at the Sambadrome on February 7, 8 or 9, 2027, when the Special Group parades: see Rio Carnival. For the turn of the year, see New Year’s Eve in Rio. Once you confirm either event, our deposit is non-refundable, because seats and places are reserved for your group.

Booking and terms

A person from our team replies the same working day (8:00-20:00 Rio time), and the proposal with the plan, the guide’s language and the price follows within 24 hours. Prices depend on the dates, the group size and the activities.

  • Boat trips, flights, activities and transfers: free cancellation up to 48 hours before; after that, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Bad weather: we move that part or refund its deposit in full.
  • If a provider or we cannot deliver, we find a replacement or refund the deposit in full.

Group bookings start from about 10 people. Groups of 50 and more are handled together with a large local receptive partner, and you keep one contact on our team. Terms and payment are set out in the proposal; you pay nothing before you confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Can you help us keep it a surprise?

Yes. We plan only with the organizer you name and send the plan and the proposal to that person. The bride or groom hears the details when you decide.

How many people can come?

Group bookings start from about 10 people; for a smaller party, write to us anyway and we will tell you what we can book. Groups of 50 and more are handled together with a large local receptive partner, and you keep one contact on our team.

Can we combine the trip with Carnival or New Year's Eve?

Yes. The Special Group parades at the Sambadrome on February 7, 8 and 9, 2027, and we book seats for any of those nights. For Carnival and New Year's Eve our deposit is non-refundable once you confirm, because seats and places are reserved for your group.

Which language does the guide speak?

We confirm the guide's language in the proposal. Our team works with you in English or Portuguese.

What if the weather stops the boat trip or the flight?

We move it to another slot or day, or refund its deposit in full. That is why we suggest keeping one spare day in the plan.

Do we pay anything before we confirm?

No. Terms and payment are set out in the proposal, and you pay nothing before you confirm.

Tell us about your trip or group. Proposal within 24 hours.

We reply from 8:00 to 20:00 Rio de Janeiro time (UTC-3). You can write at any time.
